Our updated clients allows you to quickly update statuses and assign clients to team members. 

SmartSynce

SmartSync is now available on every client profile and provides a guided walkthrough to sync your information to your tax software.

Key Updates

  • Tax Pro Account Creation: Resolved an error that occurred when a Tax Pro registered a new account, ensuring a smoother onboarding process.
  • Team Members Management: Introduced granular permissions for different roles, including Owner, Team Lead, and Team Member.
    • Team Members: Can view and update their personal info, email notification preferences, and change passwords.
    • Team Leads: Can manage team members in settings through the Members tab and bulk import clients.
    • Owners: Have complete access to settings and client list management, ensuring full control over the team's operations.
  • Bulk Email: Tax Pros can now send bulk emails to clients through the client list, streamlining communication.
  • Status Change Notifications: Implemented a notification system for taxpayers, with Phase 1 focusing on status change notifications via email, enhancing client awareness and engagement.

UI/UX Enhancements

  • Employee Signup Welcome Page: Added a welcome email for employees signing up to join the tax business, improving the onboarding experience.
  • Client List Usability Enhancement: Improved client list functionality with enhanced filtering and sorting options, making it easier to manage and locate client information.
  • Smartsync Button Usability Enhancement: Enhanced the usability of the Smartsync button by adding a loading animation and success message, providing better user feedback.

Bug Fixes

  • W2 State Info: Resolved an issue where state info from uploaded W2 forms was not displaying under the Forms section in OCR, ensuring accurate data representation.
  • Client DOB: Fixed an issue where client date of birth updates were not reflecting on the Tax Pro side after logout, ensuring data consistency.
  • Identity Vault Dependent's Name Repeated: Resolved an issue where the identity vault was showing the same name for different dependents, ensuring accurate dependent information.

Integration and Backend Updates

  • Permissions for Different Roles: Implemented robust permissions for different roles, including Owner, Team Lead, and Team Member, to enhance security and role-based access control.
  • Manage Billing and Payment Redirects: Fixed an issue where clicking on the manage billing button opened a blank page in a new tab, ensuring proper navigation and user experience.

These updates bring significant improvements to the functionality, usability, and reliability of the in-app organizer and Tax Pro features, enhancing overall user experience and productivity. Stay tuned for more updates and enhancements in future releases.
